1. Fire by Battery "Fire" (All GUNS Fire)
Right to Left
2. Fire Half Battery Fire ( if 6 guns 3 fire)
Fire by the section, (Right, left, center) section fire - (2 guns fire).
Fire by the Piece, ( Right Left center) Section fire ( 2 guns fire )
Fire by the piece fire ( everyone stops instantaneously - #1 holds hammer back if cap is in piece) Implements crossed
Commence Firing ( All gun Fire as they are loaded.)
Secure the guns ( Flood tubes and rinse vent thoroughly )
Misfire- Stand away from the gun, Call "Lean Away" #1 and #2 Cross sticks over barrel - spones up)
To show a gun is clear, place rammer in barrel sponge outside .

Pick the Vent (# 3 man)(Pick Charge)
Prime the Vent (# 4 man)(Install primer)
CLEAR!
Firing by the piece....section - battery....
FIRE!
Friction Primer Gun & Misfire.

Command:!
"Failed Primer, Stand Clear of the Piece"
A) Stand Clear of gun cross ipmlements.
B) Time 30 SEC. Wait.
C) With Pliers Carefully Remove Cap.(# 1 man does - C, D & E)
D) Repick vent.
E) RE - Cap.
F) Clear Gun
G) Fire.!
H) After 4 Attempts Flood as below. (See - I through N)
***Friction Primer Gun***
Command:-
"Failed Primer, Stand Clear of the Piece."
A) Stand clear of the gun cross implements.
B) Time 3 Mins. Wait (check with watch)
C) With Pliers Carefully remove Primer.(# 1 man does- C, D & E)
D) Repick Vent.
E) Reprime.
F) Clear Gun.
G) Fire.!
H) If gun agrain Missfires Clear Gun and cross implements.
I) Time 3 Mins. wait.
J) With Syringe Flood vent. (# 4 man)
K) AGAIN, Wait 3 mins.
I) Flood Barrel. (# 1 man)
M) Wait 3 mins.
N) Carefully Worm out round with one hand and put in bucket of water.
(# 2 man)
REPEAT: To show a gun is clear or unloaded lnsert Rammer in Barrel - sponge outside.
